Before LG unveiled the LG G5 at the Mobile World Congress, MWC, that was held in Barcelona, Spain, the Korean company had informed about their plans of releasing two flagship smartphones in 2017. One of which we have already encountered in the form of the LG G5. The will most probably be the LG V11, the successor to the highly praised LG V10.

The LG V11 Launch date will arrive some time in early 2017, around October, the same time period, the LG V10 was released. There has no LG V11 leaks, news and information yet about the device. But we will soon get you more information about the device as soon as we get our hands on more scoops about the upcoming LG smartphone in 2017.
#2 Samsung Galaxy S8

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is touted to be one of the best upcoming smartphones of 2017. By seeing the high competitive smartphone market, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has forced to deploy the entirely different mobile phone. The main question is whether the display of the smartphone is curved or flat. One of the Senior officials from Samsung has confirmed that no future Samsung smartphone will carry a flat screen.

The new high-end Samsung Galaxy S8 flaunts a 5.1-inch FHD IPS display having a pixel density of 847ppi. It is fueled by a next generation Exynos/MediaTek or Snapdragon 830 processor combined with powerful 6GB RAM. It will be shipped by a dual rear 12MP+13MP camera setup along with 5MP front camera for selfies. The Android mobile phone runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and will be available to purchase in 64 and 128GB storage options. The Samsung Galaxy S8 release date is set by MWC 2017 event and the Galaxy S8 expected price is $670 USD (roughly Rs. 44828).

The Apple with the new launch and rumor of the upcoming iPhone always brings the heat of sensation in the smartphone market and the iPhone lovers. Now, the next sensation in the smartphone market is upcoming iPhone 8. The new iPhone 8 specifications and features are expected to be the marvelous. The best thing in the Apple’s smartphone, the company always comes with a unique and durable concept that makes the device a premium with all top-notch features.

The California-based Apple is allegedly planning for the uniquely designing concept for the upcoming iPhone 8. The company is said to be bringing the all-glass variant of its interactive phone, that will release in 2017. The MacRumors report revealed that “A glass casing may be slightly heavier than an aluminum one of the same thickness, but the difference is so small that the use of the thinner and lighter AMOLED panel will compensate for that.”

As per the rumors, the Apple iPhone 8 Release Date will be near of festive season of Cupertino-based firm’s 10th anniversary. The Apple iPhone 8 release date is supposed to appear in Q4 in 2017. But for the exact iPhone 8 release date, we have to wait till its official announcement.

#4 Samsung Galaxy Note 6

Samsung has unveiled it flagship smartphone for the year 2016, both of which are brilliant handsets (check them out HERE). But this cannot stop us from getting excited about the next most anticipated Samsung mobile phone – Samsung Galaxy Note 6. To me, the Galaxy Notes have always excited more than the Galaxy S’. There are already whispers circulating around that the Samsung Note 6 will come with a different and improved build and design.

It is further predicted that this phablet from Samsung will be powered by a 16-core processor, clocking a very impressive speed of 3.1GHz (rather unbelievable though). Samsung might also make the Galaxy Note 6 smartphone compatible with a mini keyboard. These are just predictions and must be taken with a pinch of salt until we come up with something more solid.

#5 HTC and Google’s Smartphones (Sailfish and Marlin)

HTC, the Taiwanese giant and speculated smartphone maker after the launch of its flagship smartphone HTC 10 and HTC 10 lifestyle. As for now, the company has collaborated with the Google to join with its Nexus lineup. The previous iterations of the Nexus were created by Huawei and Google as Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, and for now, the contract is over and the Google made HTC as a partner for the next better Nexus device.

The Google’s ancestor model Nexus 6P had already shown its hardcore reliability among its users. Now, we are expecting much more than this. As per the leaks and rumors, HTC will be making two new Nexus device dubbed as Marlin and Sailfish, one is a premium smartphone and another one is a budget friendly smartphone. It seems to be like that this is the best form of HTC smartphones.

As per the leaks, the HTC Sailfish Marlin specifications, images and features are set as, it features a 5-inch FHD 1080p display having a pixel density of 440ppi. It is powered by a quad-core 2.0GHz 64-bit processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The Android mobile phone by Google has an inbuilt storage of 32GB, that can be further expandable via microSD card slot expansion and is enhanced with a rear fingerprint scanner. It has dual bottom speakers, USB-C Port and is backed by a 2770mAh battery. For the optics, the GSM-based handset is added with a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.

On the other hand, HTC’s next smartphone Marlin specs, images, and features will be flaunted as the new Google Nexus features a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display having a resolution of 2560*1440 pixels. It is powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm processor GHZ (unknown) combined with 4GB RAM. It will be available in 32/128GB of storage and is packed with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The expected launch date of these Nexus devices is before December.

#6 LG Flex 3

LG has unveiled its latest LG G5 Flagship smartphone (it’s outstanding, read about it HERE), and now we are all excited about the flex-y smartphone, LG Flex 3.

Though not much have been leaked about the forthcoming Flex 3 smartphone but we expect the smartphone to feature a metal body with a premium design. The cell phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM space and 32GB of internal storage space (expandable using a microSD card). The battery size will be probably somewhere between 3000-3500mAh. The handset will also be packed with fingerprint scanner and brilliant cameras. LG might also include the modular concept in the LG Flex 3 but the chances of this happening are very bleak.

The LG Flex 3 might see a launch around the IFA Berlin in September 2016 and the LG Flex 3 Price will be set around £500 (Rs. 47,720 app).

#7 Microsoft Surface Phone

We come across a number of leaks and rumors about Microsoft working on a Surface phone that will be running the Windows 10 OS. This is indeed in the development stage and considering the success of the Surface Pro 4 and the excitement around Surface Book, the Surface Phone could be just what the Windows smartphone business need.

It is expected that the smartphone will feature an Intel chipset and it will sport a usual magnesium alloy chassis. Not much can be said about the smartphone right now, but this smartphone has managed to create some serious excitement.

The Microsoft Surface mobile phone is expected to come with a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display on the front that will have a QHD resolution. The handset will probably be powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor and this will be supported by 4GB of RAM space and 64GB onboard storage space.

The modular smartphone from Google has faced a number of delay already, and now we are finally expecting the Project Ara smartphone to arrive in 2017. The Google Ara Phone will be a smartphone whose components can be changed by its users according to their needs and requirements. This will allow its users to build the best smartphone for them.

A pilot program was scheduled to take place in Puerto Rico last year but is has now got pushed to 2017. The Project Ara smartphone will be initially launched in a few test markets in US.
